1. Our privacy commitment
ClearNexa does not create user accounts, collect personal data, sell personal data, or share personal data with advertisers, analytics providers, or other third parties. ClearNexa does not operate a backend for storage scans, duplicate-media analysis, or device status.
2. On-device processing
ClearNexa reads device storage capacity, battery status, device information, and installed-app information only to provide the feature you select. If you choose a folder or grant photo and video access, duplicate-media matching, preview generation, scan results, and cleanup history are processed and stored locally on your device. ClearNexa does not upload these files, previews, or results.
3. Permissions
ClearNexa requests access only when it is needed for a feature you choose. Photo and video access is used to find and preview duplicate media. Android's folder picker grants access only to the folder you select. Usage access, if you choose to grant it, is used to display Android-provided app-use information. You can decline or revoke access in Android settings; the related feature may then be unavailable.
4. Network speed test
When you start a speed test, your device directly contacts the public test endpoint needed to measure the connection. That endpoint and your network provider may receive your IP address and ordinary connection data required to complete the request under their own policies. ClearNexa does not receive, retain, or share that information. The test is user-initiated and does not run in the background.
5. Storage and deletion
Local scan results, preview thumbnails, and in-app history remain in ClearNexa's private app storage until you clear them, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Android controls permissions and media-deletion confirmations. ClearNexa never deletes your personal files automatically.
6. Children
ClearNexa is not directed to children. Because the current app does not collect personal data or offer accounts, ClearNexa does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
7. Changes and contact
